Period Poverty Project

Breaking the Cycle, One Product at a Time.

In Southern Arizona, 2 in 5 people who menstruate struggle to afford or access period products, while 1 in 3 low-income individuals have had to miss work, school, or important events due to lack of access to menstrual supplies.

This year, we are piloting the Period Poverty Project!  This project aims to address barriers to affording and accessing menstrual hygiene products. We will be collecting and donating tampons, pads, liners, and adult diapers to the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona, Z Mansion's Homeless Feeding Project, and University of Arizona's Feminist Pharmacy which directly distribute to individuals who face barriers in accessing menstrual hygiene products. Access to these key resources really makes a difference! In health, in opportunity, in comfort. Join us in the effort to ensure that  no one in our community has to choose between their health and basic necessities.
